GROSS PRIVATE AREA

It is the total area, measured by the exterior perimeter and the axes of the walls or other separating elements of the building or building unit, including private balconies, basements and private attics with the same use as the building or building unit.

Closed or "marquee" balconies

These are areas with the same use as the building unit, thus private gross area.

Pantry

With access from inside the building unit - area with the same use as the building unit, therefore private gross area.

Pantry installed on the balcony, as long as it is "closed", therefore with the same usage as the fraction, therefore private gross area.
