In practice and for legal purposes, the permanent certificate provides proof of the company's records before clients and partners. Whenever the permanent certificate request is made, an access code is attributed, and it is not necessary to present the certificate on paper. It can be consulted online at the Portal do Cidadão (Citizen's Portal).
